Wearing a NatarGeorgiou (past season) sequined dress, coat and hat from Zara, vintage clutch and oxfords from Cos. Happy Saturday everyone!

IT sunglasses

Alice goes to Cannes (blue leopard)
Coco and the Row
Kitten Noir
Rose Rouge
Alice goes to Cannes  (black leopard)
Alice goes to Cannes (black lace)

Let me introduce you to Miss Anna-Karin Kalrsson - designer of the above IT sunnies.
While at a shoot at one of my favorite shoe (heavens) destinations in London - The Box Boutique - I discovered this spectacular collection. I was instantly inlove with the oversized  'Alice goes to Cannes - blue leopard' cat-eye pair.
In general - for those who are not aware of the store - The box Boutique features new emerging designers, and I must admit that it has an excellent buying department as all the shoes are one - of - a - kind.
You MUST visit. They currently sell online via their e-store or you can find them on their brick and mortar shop in Maddox Street - London.
Now, about the Anna Karlsson eyewear - a brilliant Swedish designer whose name is one to remember - produces amazingly exclusive and unique sunglasses. Visit her online store here. Was thrilled to discover her. The leopard beauties are my next purchase - on the top of my wish list! What do you guys think?

I have been doing some research lately about emerging designers in general, and I have discovered gems. Stay tuned, I will share them soon!

Peace and Love

Sunday.Brick Lane.Art.DrMartens

What I did yesterday... After a meeting in the morning, I finally had the day off, and the chance to enjoy a lazy Sunday. Went to Brick Lane for a walk - thing I hadn't done for ages and I had totally missed it. My favorite east crowd, chilled mood, hundreds of people bombarding streets with color explosion mix n' matching styles, having beer and eating all sorts of dellis available at Brick Lane stalls.
Plus, there was a Dr.Martens sample sale going on this weekend. Unfortunately I couldn't make it for Saturday so I missed all the good ones - although I heard that there was an estimated 6-hour queue to get in - bloody hell. The dreamy pony skin ones - limited edition - were on sale for the crazy price of £25 - nothing left though :(
I couldn't leave the place empty handed though so I bought the two pairs shown in the picture above.
Classic suede army booties and the beige dreamy loafers - in love with those and can't wait to style them. I am sure you all once had a pair of Dr.Martens, especially back in school - at least i still have mine somewhere! :)

While strolling around the streets, doing absolutely nothing, but just enjoying myself with my friends and the super-fashionable crowd around me, I stumbled upon Tony's gallery ; I couldn't help it, I had to take a couple of pics. I asked the guys over there, which were all of them very smiley and cheerful; they let me in straight away.
Tony's is a new art platform/gallery space located in Brick Lane and aims to encourage the crossovers between street and contemporary art. The gallery presents seven exhibitions per year and currently features the crochet bedroom and not only, by the Polish-born, New york based artist - Olerk. “I do not expect to be a mother but I do expect to die alone”, is the title of Olerk's current solo exhibition. She is renowned for her use of crocheted yarn and has created a major installation and sculptural environment. Playful and cheerful, the colored work with the text-based 'sexist' messages crocheted into the objects, are statements, revealing her position as a female artist in an art world that is inclined to have sexist opinions. Her practice has the striking quality of presenting a double-edged approach whereby the initial impact is colorful, enchanting and almost cartoon-like and yet under this camouflaged skin lies a complex and subversive metaphor for the world as she sees it.
(Source - tonysgallery.com)
Tony's also features a resident artist - Malark; a talented illustrator and street artist (last picture) who's job (when in London and not Barcelona) is to put color on the walls of grey London. You may see the lovely -happy- cartoonish street art he creates up on his blog here.
If you ever find yourself around this - little gem - gallery, pop in to get your art dose.

IT scarf + blacks

Received this marvelous oversized scarf from the super-talented designer duo NatarGeorgiou. The designers are based in Cyprus but their merchandise is currently distributed worldwide - coming in London very very soon - will reveal the 'where' shortly. For the moment, you may see their designs here; the uber-fashionable guys will treat you like a princess - amazing service. Spectacular one-of-a-kind  garments; watch them they will soon be big - believe me.
Their designs are based on handmade knit -their trademark- which is combined with luxurious fabrics and various embellishments. Full post about their entire collection will follow up soon.
Since they are on the top list of the emerging designers I believe in and follow, my wardrobe consists of many pieces with their signature; example what I wore at Elie Saab show; head to toe (kind of).
This multicolored scarf is so impressive itself, hence it could only be paired with basics - aka blacks. I am wearing chiffon vintage skirt, H&M cropped top, vintage bag and Wehrmacht boots, Topshop hat and Rayban sunnies.
Have a great weekend
Peace and Love

Off

I am sure you have all faced one of those horrible days when you open your wardrobe and although what you see is pile of clothes, massive stacks of jewellery, numerous shoe boxes and a rainbow of clutch bags - first thing that comes in your mind - I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR. This was one of those; - Grrrr.
After many days of hard work though, I am finally off from everything today; so shopping, casual drinks and dinner with friends fill up my schedule. The day is amazing, hot and super-sunny hence there was no way I would miss it! Very quickly, I chose this outfit. So - white vintage fur, brown high-waist leather-like pants and cuff from H&M, vintage knit and bag from RetroDose , neon pink beanie from Brick Lane market and Gothic ring from Camden. Lastly, Topshop heels.
Peace and Love

Contrast

I am finally sporting my new neon orange beanie - and loving the great contrast that makes with total black. Wearing Versace for H&M mens coat, vintage jumper, random leather bag, River Island skirt and Office chain booties.
Although  busy with work these days, today I am feeling extremely overpowered. Lets all have a productive lovely day!

First.Filming.Day

In my previous post, I did mention that I received an offer to work on the styling of a film production next to Matthew Zorpas. Filming started on Friday. So, before heading to the studio, I had the chance to take a couple of shots, in order to show you this brand new oversized coat from H&M - btw I think it is orange, everybody says it is red, anyway; last picture (although a bit low res) is from our amazing first filming location - an immaculate penthouse with spectacular London views - London Eye, Big Ben and many more at direct sight. Everything looks wonderful till now. Oh, and although I tweeted about it - in case you haven't seen it - I revealed one of the actors name in the movie; Matt di'Angelo!
Considering my outfit, along with the new coat, I paired customized torn vintage Levis, random jumper, vintage oxfords and jewellery. Plus my John Lennon sunnies.
Off to the studio, lots of work to do. See you soon.

In.Vogue.

While googling for some inspo on fashion week street styles, I came across myself in Vogue Hellas, wearing this orange neon skirt outfit! Thank you guys. Speaking of Vogue, honored enough to have been featured in British Vogue earlier this month (in case you haven't seen it) at the fabulous Lanvin's show - Paris Fashion Week!

New in - MARNI X H&M

It was one lucky day yesterday! What I wanted more from the Marni x H&M collab was these heels. I couldn't make it to the stores the first day of the collection's launch, the website was - as expected - down so I was left with absolutely nothing as everything had been taken! Grrrrr!
On a visit to the stores yesterday, looking for something completely different, these beauties were at my sight! One size - and it was mine! The perfect shoes for everyday - allday; comfortable, simple but chic!
Peace and Love

P.S. Forgot to mention some great news. I recently received an offer to work on the styling of a movie next to the multi-talented Matthew Zorpas , head stylist on the project. So bloody busy with fittings and rehearsals at the moment. Filming starts tomorrow. Everything looks good till now - hence - happy :)

Lace-up

I completely forgot I had these pictures; taken back in January, but I thought I should share!
Although not at the trends of the moment, I really love these lace-up boots; completely edgy and one-of-a-kind. I had the 'where are they from' question, a number of times - weirdly enough, they are from a limited edition collection of H&M (past season). Paired with this yellowish silk jacket from RetroDose, vintage leather shorts, H&M shirt and clutch!
Have a great day!
